Editing Docs (editingdocs.com) publishes articles on the craft of documentary editing. This site has no login, no account creation, no contact form, no cookies, and no analytics or ads. It does not collect any personal data from you directly.

Technical Data (Server Logs)

Our EU/EEA-based hosting provider, STRATO, automatically logs limited technical data for every website visit (e.g. IP address, browser type, date & time, pages requested) to operate and secure the site. This is standard for any website and is not used for tracking, profiling, or marketing.

• Legal basis: Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the site running and secure
• Retention: Deleted or anonymised after a short period, per standard practice
• Location: Processed entirely within the EU/EEA — no international transfers
• Sharing: Not shared with any other third party
